The Housing Authority of Savannah has issued Request for Quotes (RFQ) No. 1142019-Financial Audit (Part Two), to replace the cost proposals submitted under RFP No. 1142019-Financial Audit Services. Only firms who submitted proposal packages and pricing by the deadline for RFP No. 1142019-Financial Audit Services will receive notification for this RFQ. Also, only firms who submitted proposal packages and pricing by the deadline for RFP No. 1142019-Financial Audit Services will be allowed to submit quotes for this RFQ. The review process for RFP No. 1142019-Financial Audit Services has been temporarily suspended. The Review Panel has not convened, nor have hard-copy proposal packages been distributed for scoring.
The Housing Authority of Savannah issued two (2) addenda under RFP No. 1142019-Financial Audit Services which indicated a change in the pricing items. An error occurred which affected the cost proposals. This error was not detected until after the deadline and the cost proposals were made available for viewing. Instead of canceling the RFP, the Agency decided to receive new quotes only from those firms that participated in RFP No. 1142019-Financial Audit Services.
Each firm must, must, must submit a new cost proposal. Failure to provide a new cost proposal under RFQ No. 1142019-Financial Audit Services (Part Two), will eliminate your firm from RFP No. 1142019-Financial Audit Services.
All quantities entered by the Agency within the corresponding Pricing Items are for calculating purposes only. Each firm must enter a cost for all Pricing Item #’s 1-6. Failure to enter a cost for each Pricing Item will eliminate your firm from RFQ. No. 1142019-Financial Audit Services (Part Two) and RFP No. 1142019-Financial Audit Services.
The new cost proposals will not be available to the Agency for viewing until after the deadline. Remember that cost proposals are evaluated objectively through the e-Procurement system. The lowest cost proposal receives the maximum number of total points in that criteria. All other firms receive a percentage of the total points compared to the lowest cost proposal.
We are not requesting, nor will we accept new hard-copy proposal packages. This will not affect your original hard-copy proposal package where per the instructions in RFP No. 1142019-Financial Audit Services, pricing should not have been included in the hard-copy proposal package.
Once the new cost proposals are received by the deadline, the Housing Authority of Savannah will resume the review process for RFP No. 1142019-Financial Audit Services, using the cost proposal results from RFQ No. 1142019-Financial Audit Services (Part Two) to evaluate Criteria 1-Cost.
The Housing Authority of Savannah will receive questions until Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 12:00 noon, regarding RFQ No. 1142019-Financial Audit Services (Part Two), only. No questions will be entertained regarding the scope of work or any details included in RFP No. 1142019-Financial Audit Services.
